Lovely little spot with creative takes on classic breakfast/brunch foods. We got the oysters which were unfortunately not the best. There were two types and both were nothing special. We also ordered the salmon for hash brown which was just stellar! The roe exploded with a nice salty twist and married quite well with the crunchy texture of the potato. And all that was balanced with a light hint of dill and sour cream. We also ordered a special, think it was something like a spicy ceviche salad. It was quite pleasantly spicy and the juice it came with was a perfect balance of citrus and heat, with some notes of soy/sesame. Coffee drinks were ok. Service was attentive, though it did take a while to get our order in. Overall, nice spot for brunch.

Brunch Bliss at Yangs! If you're on the hunt for a brunch spot that will have your taste buds dancing, look no further than Yangs! I've been here with the girls countless times, and trust me, we're never stopping! The star of the show? The mochi pancake! It's an absolute MUST-ORDER--a heavenly cloud of softness, perfectly textured, and drenched in the divine sweetness of condensed milk. I'm telling you, it's a slice of brunch paradise that you simply can't resist! But it's not just the food that keeps us coming back; it's the incredible team! The familiar faces and warm smiles make every visit feel like catching up with old friends. Seriously, you can feel the positive vibes radiating from the staff. They greet you with such enthusiasm and are always eager to share their recommendations--it's like having a personal brunch concierge! From hearty breakfast classics like fluffy eggs and crispy bacon to delightful lunch options like their delectable Market Plate, Yangs has something for everyone! Plus, they've got fantastic vegan-friendly choices that cater to every dietary preference. It's truly a menu that brings the whole gang together! And let's not forget the drinks! Each time we visit, we share a refreshing beverage, and the flavor options are always tantalizing! They have a rotating selection of gorgeous juices that not only taste amazing but are also a feast for the eyes. Get those cameras ready--you'll want to capture these beauties! Every single dish we've tried is top-notch. I often leave with an empty plate (or two!) because the food is just that good. Seriously, I can't help but order a second plate when everything is calling my name! Just a heads-up: if you're planning a big group brunch, you might want to rethink it. Yangs has a cozy atmosphere, and large groups can face long wait times--better to come with a crew of four or fewer! Speaking of wait times, definitely use the WAIT LIST! I can't stress this enough. Sign up before you arrive to secure your spot--waits can stretch to 1-2 hours, especially on busy days. Main Street is perfect for leisurely exploring while you wait, so don't rush it! In summary, if you're looking for a laid-back brunch experience that will leave you smiling and satisfied, gather your closest foodie friends and make your way to Yangs. You won't regret it! And while they do dinner too, the brunch vibe is where the magic happens--relaxed, fun, and utterly delicious. Enjoy every moment!

What a delight! Brunch here was phenomenal, with a delicious Asian twist. The cornmeal mochi pancakes are a must-order - I never usually order pancakes because they can be overly sugary, but this dish deserves the ultimate Asian compliment of being "not too sweet". The blue cornmeal gives it such an interesting flavor and the rice flour gives it a nice, chewy bite. So good! My friends and I also loved the smoked salmon hash, which came with a generous sprinkle of ikura. Be sure to come early - the restaurant gets busy quickly!

Holy shit. This place kinda blew me away. My friend and I came on a Sunday night. We made a reservation about 30min in advance. Without a reservation however, they were fully booked for the night. After our meal, I could see why. We ordered the chicken liver mousse, braised cabbage, braised duck leg with taro, and chicken fat rice. Everything was incredible but the chicken liver mousse and braised cabbage blew me away. The liver, and the anchovies mix on the cabbage, were packed with umami! I will be dreaming of those dishes until my next visit. Service was great. Portions were decent for sharing. Can't wait to come back :)

Came here a couple of times already and I always get the yang's set meal with chicken thigh. The set is perfect for one person but if you are starving, I suggest getting a shareable like the cold sesame noodles. Every time I come, there is always a wait so definitely join the waitlist on yelp before you arrive. Street parking along Main street but there is also a free parking lot right across the restaurant (behind boiling crab).

This is our second time at Yang's Kitchen and what strikes me is the consistent quality in the food and the service. This restaurant feels like it would belong in Silverlake / Echo Park area with the atmosphere and their natty wine collection, but glad to have it here in SGV! Last time we had the Hainan Fish Rice and the Dan Dan Campanelle (which blew us away), so we were very excited this time to try their brunch menu items. This time we got the Breakfast Plate and Yang's Set Meal. Both were very hearty and filling. For protein we chose the pastured chicken thigh and the hanger steak. Between the two, we liked the chicken thigh more! Nearly all the tables had the Cornmeal Mochi Pancake so we ordered one too. It was huge and could probably share with 3-4 people. It didn't really have a mochi texture but it was really good with the cream and jam they served it with. Parking lot behind the establishment but be careful not to park at Rick's because they will tow you!

I recently had breakfast at Yang's Kitchen, and let me just say - food shows should be *lining up* to film here! Seriously, if Gordon Ramsay showed up, he'd throw his spatula in the air and call it a day. I ordered eggs, bacon, and hash browns, and wow... everything was delicious. But the **eggs**? They were on a whole other level. I don't know what magic they're working in the kitchen, but those eggs were fluffy clouds of perfection. I'm pretty sure they've cracked the code on how to make the best eggs in the world (pun intended). The bacon was crispy, the hash browns had that perfect golden crunch, but honestly, the eggs were the true stars of the show. If I could marry those eggs, I would - that's how good they were. To top it all off, the service was *chef's kiss* amazing. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed, including a coffee refill before I even had to ask. They really make you feel like part of the family. If you're not already rushing over to Yang's Kitchen, what are you waiting for? Seriously, Netflix should make a series about this place.

Situated in the heart of Old Town Alhambra, many restaurants have come and go, but the staples remain strong. You have Boiling Crab and Gen Korean BBQ as anchors flooded with consistent business. Then you have Yang's Kitchen which looks to be a tiny restaurant but always packed. Food: Chicken Wings--They were well fried and flavored. They were very fresh and remained hot for some time. I love the thin/no-batter fried chicken crisp. Hainan fish rice - I liked the fish, rice, and pickles, but I have to be honest about it: I didn't think the flavors meshed. Brocillini - It was in a nutty type sauce. I recall eating this type of sauce on a fish at Water Grill in DTLA. Service: Really good service here. They came to check on us often. The place was very well staffed. Environment: This place is well decorated. I'd expect a restaurant like this in DTLA, Santa Monica and/or Pasadena. It's nice to see a spot like this in the heart of Alhambra. Parking is pretty easy in any of the City operated parking lots. Price: For the ambiance and quality of food, I didn't think it was expensive. Food: 4.5 Service: 5 Environment: 4.5 Price: 4
